The purpose of this public relations campaign is to penetrate PepsiCo’s existing CSR initiative, Performance with Purpose, by implementing recycling efforts for PepsiCo’s product packaging. It was curated at the request of PepsiCo under the supervision of Ronald Tolson for the Ketchum public relations firm. This campaign was designed by Auburn University students enrolled in PRCM 4500.
PepsiCo is one of the world's leading food and beverage companies. PepsiCo is a global manufacturer, distributor and marketer for various snack foods and beverages. The company is headquartered in Purchase, New York and is not owned by a larger corporation. A few brands owned by PepsiCo are Frito-Lay, Gatorade, Pepsi-Cola, Quaker and Tropicana. Auburn University’s students of the Public Relations Campaigns course have partnered with Ketchum for a CSR Initiative Mindfire Project.
